What Is Juneteenth?
What is the Central Area Chamber of Commerce?

The Central Area Chamber of Commerce is here for the community. We have been an established non-profit since 1983. We credit our longevity to community support, dedicated volunteers and staff.

Here is partial information on the daily line up for the upcoming festival. Friday, June 5th is the kick off. Ice Cream Social for the youth, sponsored by Dick's Drive Inn. Northwest Tap Dance Troop. Mime troop from Peoples Inst. Church.

June 6th Blues and Jazz Day with our local musicians. Ms. Gloria Jones is the special guest speaker, speaking on Change. Retired Lieutenant William Morrow will be speaking on good Health and staying fit.

June 7th Church in the Park with great singing, praise dancing, local pastors and local Politicians.

We have made it our mission to help area businesses by offering seminars, events and useful information to help business owners establish and grow their business.
It is our mission to foster unity in the community by providing festivals and other events that the community can participate in and benefit from. It is also our mission to provide social and political awareness so that the community is informed about what is going on in and around the Central Area.
We invite you to join us!
We meet on 1st Monday of every month, 7:00 PM
at 2100 24th Ave. South, just off Rainier.
